I have a seven year old daughter named Mira and a two year old son named Landon. They do strange things, and I find myself saying even stranger things to them. These are the things I never thought I would say, before I was a father.

Daddy/Daughter Day
Sarah went to visit her friend today, who is having her own baby girl sometime in the next few weeks. The original plan was for Mira to go with her, but early this morning, she crawled into bed with me and said she wanted to stay with Daddy. So, we spent the day together at home. We played with her Chuggers all morning and had lunch. At nap time, I tried to get her to lay in her bed, but she cried and said, "I want to lay with Daddy.". Being the big softy that I am, I let her lay on me on the couch until she fell asleep, then I carefully moved her to her bed. It was a lazy Saturday, but I wouldn't change it for anything. Later on tonight, we are going to dinner with Nana and Grand-dad at Ainsley's for Mira's half birthday. I can't believe she will be two and a half on Tuesday. Time goes by too fast.
